Mangaluru: Bearys Academy of Learning on Saturday organized the 10th Graduation Day celebrations of Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT) and 3rd Graduation Day of Bearys Enviro-Architecture Design School (BEADS) and 6th Graduation Day of BIT Polytechnic at the Bearys Arena, Bearys Knowledge Campus.
The eminent Mr. Venkataramanan Venugopal, Head & Director of Engineering – Digital, Schneider Electric, Bengaluru delivered the inaugural address and Dr. G.C. Mohan Kumar, Director NITK delivered the graduation day address.
Architect Manoj Ladhad, Co-Founder and Principal Architect, Architecture Paradigm Bengaluru also delivered an inspiring address to the architecture students. Dakshina Kannada District Health Officer Dr. Kishore Kumar also launched the logo of Bearys Institute of Health.

Engineers of tomorrow need to be prepared to deal with Climate Change – Mr. Venkataramanan Venugopal
During his inaugural address, Venkataramanan Venugopal mentioned that things have changed drastically over the last century and that the advancement of technology has taken over the world. Further he also stated that since technology was further transforming the world every day he urged the students to seize all the opportunities that come their way and make most of it to contribute positively to the world.
He emphasized that of the many challenges the current and future generations will have to face, Climate Change is one of the major challenges and that sustainability will be of utmost importance in the years to come.

“Our Engineers of tomorrow need to be prepared to deal with Climate Change and they have to come up with a plan and blueprint to compass sustainable development and construction. The students of BIT, BEADS are lucky to have Syed Beary as their chairman. There is no better role model than him when it comes to sustainable growth and development. He is the pioneer of sustainability.
After launching the logo of Bearys Institute of Health Sciences DHO Dr. Kishore Kumar urged the students to be responsible in everything that they do and congratulated the Bearys Academy of Learning on setting foot in the Health Sciences sector.
Dr. G.C. Mohan Kumar told students that Honesty, Commitment, and Smartness will play key roles in their careers as they step into professional life wherein, they will lack the protection of their parents and teachers and will have to face the world by themselves. He said people working with Honesty, Commitment and Smartness will eventually and subsequently find success and peace of mind. Urging the students to try to pursue further studies, he told them that learning never ends for an individual and that they should continue to learn new skills even if they are not pursuing further studies. Pointing out that while mobile phones have connected people with peers and people across the world, he added that it has disconnected people from their parents, families, and friends. He advised students to be compassionate with their parents and to spend time with them every day.

Syed Mohamed Beary in his presidential address also asked the students to spend time with their parents. He then advised the fresh graduates to be truthful, trustworthy, sympathetic, and passionate in their personal and professional lives.
Addressing the students further, Syed Beary also asked the students to not live a life that is only concerned with their personal well-being and money but asked them to contribute to society. He asked them to keep their hearts pure and their intentions clear.
He briefly introduced the Bearys Institute of Health Sciences and said that he envisions seeing the Bearys Academy of Learning turn into a global university that will be known as Bearys Global University for Societal Happiness.
Dr. Manjur Basha, Principal of BIT welcomed the guests and audience, while Ar. Ashok Mendonca presented the vote of thanks.
